Library moves closer to fundraising goal

Macomb Public LibraryThe Macomb Public Library is inching closer to its designated goal for the extension of their building.

Dennis Danowski tells NEWS3 that the library is approaching $600,000 out of the $794,000 needed. The library’s “Campaign for the Future” is raising these funds in order to receive a multi-million dollar grant from the state.

With the money received, the library hopes to make improvements to its building such as adding more computers to its facility.

Anyone wanting to donate to the library’s campaign may do so by logging onto the library’s website and clicking the “Campaign for the Future” link.
