Winter Weather Advisory in effect for western Illinois

MACOMB, Ill. (NEWS3) — A Winter Weather Advisory is in an effect until noon on Monday for McDonough and Hancock Counties.
Snow accumulations are expected to be between 1 to 3 inches. The snow will start to fall during the overnight hours.
Temperatures are expected to stay around the freezing mark, causing the precipitation to freeze to the ground.
Besides a drop in temperatures, wind gusts are expected to reach 30 MPH.

Give yourself plenty of time in the morning to get to your destination safely.
Storm Team Three will continue to follow this system as it moves through our area.
