MACOMB, Ill. (NEWS3) — Western Illinois University is offering help for students as they take online classes for the rest of the semester due to the cancellation of in-person classes.
The WIU Office of Retention Initiatives set up a resource website with a wide-range of support groups and services for students to access at their convenience.
The site is called “Rocky’s Resources” which features options for tutoring, tips for working online, various workshops and services available to assist students.
Each page outlines the days, times and how students can reach a tutor or another service. Students can connect with someone through video, audio, chat and email.
You can watch below WIU Interim Executive Director of Retention Initiatives Justin Schuch talk with NEWS3’s Devin Brooks via Zoom about the resource website.
