SCHUYLER CO., Ill. (NEWS3) — A west-central Illinois community is learning for the first time how many coronavirus tests have been conducted so far.
Schuyler County emergency officials released a graph on Facebook Tuesday showing the results of more than a dozen COVID-19 tests. Of those tests, 15 have come back negative and one was positive. Currently there are no tests pending in the county. Additional tests may be pending, but those were completed outside of the county.
The one positive test was reported on April 8. Public health officials said a woman in her 30s was confirmed with virus.
Schuyler County Health Department staff said she did not report any significant travel. She is currently isolating at home and has been cooperative. No other information was released.

Tuesday, the Illinois Department of Public Health reported a total of 23,247 coronavirus cases and 868 deaths in 88 counties.
Officials at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville announced coronavirus testing is being offered at the hospital for people who feel they have symptoms. Patients must call ahead of a visit if feeling ill and must be prepared to answer the screening questions listed here.
Hospital staff said after a visit to Culbertson clinics or the emergency department, a patient’s healthcare provider will direct them to self-quarantine and the Schuyler County Health Department will be in contact over the 14-day quarantine period and will communicate test results when they are received.
